1. Who we are
Next Music Group ("NMG", "we", "us", "our") is a global music company offering distribution, publishing administration, label services, artist management and brand partnerships to artists, labels, writers and rights holders. Next Music Group is operated by Songpro Digital Private Limited, a company incorporated in India (CIN: U92113HR2021PTC097757), with its registered office at W/H No. 13/762A, New 775/12, Hansi, Haryana, India - 125033. For the purposes of applicable data protection law, Songpro Digital Private Limited is the data controller for personal data processed through this website. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website (nextmusicgroup.com), why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it. It covers this marketing site and the forms on it — our client portal at portal.nextmusicgroup.com, which existing clients use to manage releases and royalties, is governed by the client agreement each client signs, though the same principles below apply to it.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us directly. When you use our contact form or apply through the Partner With Us form, we collect what you enter: your name, email address, phone number, country and city, who you are (independent artist, band, label, manager or producer) and which of our services you're interested in, artist or label name, genre, current distributor, release history, monthly listener and revenue figures, links to your music and social profiles, how you heard about us, and anything you write in an open message field. None of this is required beyond what the form marks as mandatory, and you choose what to share in free-text fields.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our server logs basic technical data on every visit: IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and the page that referred you here. This happens regardless of whether you submit a form.
Google reCAPTCHA. Our forms use Google reCAPTCHA to distinguish real applicants from automated spam. reCAPTCHA collects device and interaction signals and operates under Google's own privacy policy and terms of service, which apply independently of this one.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics (Google tag) to understand aggregate traffic patterns — which pages get visited, how people arrive, and how the site performs. This data is reported in aggregate and is not used by us to build individual profiles of visitors. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking using Google's browser opt-out tools, available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
3. How we use your information
We use the information above to: respond to enquiries submitted through the contact form; evaluate and respond to Partner With Us applications; understand where our applicants and visitors come from so we can improve the site and our outreach; secure the site against spam and abuse; and comply with our own legal and accounting obligations. If your application leads to a client relationship, the information you provided carries forward into that relationship, governed by your client agreement and the portal's own data practices.
4. How we share your information
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We share it only where necessary to operate the site and evaluate applications: with the service providers that run our infrastructure (website hosting, form processing, spam protection, analytics, email delivery) under terms that limit their use of it to providing that service to us; with professional advisers where relevant; and with authorities where we are legally required to disclose information.
5. Cookies
This site uses a small number of cookies: those necessary for the site and its forms to function, and analytics cookies from Google Analytics, which only load if you accept them. The first time you visit, a banner lets you choose "Accept all" or "Necessary only" — your choice is remembered so you won't be asked again. We do not run third-party advertising trackers or sell data to ad networks. You can also block or delete cookies through your browser's settings at any time.
6. International transfers
We operate globally and work with platforms, societies and service providers located in many countries. Where your personal data crosses borders as a result — for example, because our hosting or analytics providers process data outside your country — we take reasonable steps to keep it protected consistent with this policy, regardless of where it is processed.
7. Retention
We keep contact-form and partner-application data only as long as needed to respond to your enquiry or evaluate your application, plus a reasonable period afterward in case you follow up. If your application becomes a client relationship, retention from that point follows your client agreement and applicable accounting and tax record-keeping requirements.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, correct it, request its deletion, object to or restrict how we process it, or receive a copy of it in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, email . We respond to verified requests within the timeframe required by applicable law. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
9. Children
This site and our services are directed at artists, labels and industry professionals operating as adults or businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in applicable law. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Material changes will be reflected here; we encourage checking back periodically if you interact with us regularly.
