Music Publishing Collecting for Writers + Catalogs = 80+ societies

The royalties you're owed, found & paid.

( Registration · Collection · Sync · One statement )

Every stream, broadcast, live show, cover and placement earns your compositions money — and most of it is never claimed. We register your works worldwide, chase down what's missing, and pay it out clean. You keep 100% ownership.

01 · Earn more

Streaming is only half
of what your songs earn.

Your distributor collects for the recording. Publishing collects for the composition — the mechanical, performance, sync and YouTube income that never shows up on a distribution statement.

Worldwide Registration

Your compositions registered with performing-rights and mechanical societies across 80+ territories — new releases and back catalog alike. Ownership and copyright stay 100% yours.

80+ societies · Full ownership

One Transparent Split

A single admin share on what we collect, agreed before you sign. No upfront fees, no annual charges, no deductions hiding in the fine print of your statement.

No upfront fees · No lock-in

Sync & New Income

Your catalog pitched to music supervisors for film, TV, advertising and games — with placement fees negotiated and every backend royalty collected after the credits roll.

Film · TV · Ads · Games
The part nobody tells you

Unclaimed royalties don't disappear. They sit with societies — then get redistributed to someone else.

If your works aren't registered correctly in a territory, the money your songs earn there is collected anyway — it just never reaches you. After a holding period, most societies fold unclaimed income back into their general pool. Registration is the difference between earning it and donating it.

02 · How it works

From sign-up to payout,
in four moves.

You send us your works once. We handle the registrations, the claims, the pitching and the paperwork — you watch the statement.

01

Register your works

We register every composition — new and back catalog — with collection societies and mechanical agencies in 80+ territories.

02

Match & claim

We audit usage data against your registrations, uncover unclaimed royalties, and file claims — including historical periods where societies allow.

03

Pitch for sync

Your catalog goes in front of music supervisors for film, TV, ad and game briefs that actually fit your sound.

04

You get paid

Everything reconciles into one itemized statement — publishing income paid out alongside your distribution royalties.

03 · What we collect

Every royalty
your songs generate.

Publishing income comes from hundreds of sources across the globe. These are the big ones we chase for every work in your catalog.

Earned whenever your songs are played on radio or TV, performed live, or streamed — collected through performing-rights societies worldwide.

Radio · TV · Live · DSPs

Mechanical

Reproduction royalties owed every time your composition is streamed, downloaded, or pressed to a physical format.

Streams · Downloads · Physical

YouTube & UGC

The composition's share of ad revenue when your songs appear in videos, covers, shorts and fan uploads across the platform.

Covers · Shorts · Fan uploads

Upfront fees when your music is licensed into film, TV, ads or games — plus the backend performance royalties every broadcast triggers.

Publishing FAQ

Questions writers ask us.

Every song carries two copyrights: one for the recording, one for the composition (the melody and lyrics). Your distributor collects for the recording. Publishing royalties — mechanical, performance, sync and more — belong to the composition, and they're paid through an entirely separate system of societies and agencies. If nobody administers that side for you, most of it goes uncollected.

No. This is an administration deal, not an acquisition. You keep 100% ownership and copyright of your works — we register, collect, and pitch on your behalf, and you can leave at the end of your term with everything you came with.

Distribution and publishing collect from two different copyrights. Your distribution deal — with us or anyone else — only collects recording royalties from DSPs. The composition side earns separately every time the same song is streamed, broadcast, performed or placed, and none of that appears on a distribution statement.

There are no upfront or annual fees. We take an administration share of the publishing royalties we actually collect — agreed clearly before you sign — and you keep the rest. If we don't collect, we don't earn.

A PRO membership mainly covers the writer's share of performance royalties, primarily in your home territory. It doesn't handle worldwide mechanical royalties, the publisher's share, sync pitching, or registrations across foreign societies. We work alongside your PRO membership and pick up everything it doesn't reach.

Often, yes. Many societies allow retroactive claims on unclaimed royalties for a limited window — commonly a few years back, depending on the territory. When you register your catalog with us, we file historical claims wherever the rules allow.

publishing with Next.

A few words from the people whose works we administer.

Our sync placement came through their publishing team within a month of signing. That kind of speed usually only happens at the majors.
